Q: What powers the Flyboard?

A: Just about any brand of sit down Jet Ski / Wave-runner can power the Flyboard.

Q: Is the Flyboard dangerous?

A: The Flyboard is not very dangerous, if you respect the safety guidelines taught in your pre-flight safety briefing, you will be very safe.

Q: Does the Flyboard float?

A: Yes, the Flyboard does float when at rest. You will also be using a life preserver (PFD Personal Flotation Device). The entire Flyboard with the 60-foot power hose weighs less than 100 pounds.

Q: Is the Flyboard like the water Jet Pack?

A: The Flyboard is a little similar to the Jet Pack because it uses a water jet supplied to the unit by a large diameter power hose for propulsion. Instead of a backpack type power pack like the Jet Pack, the Flyboard utilizes a board that you stand on, similar to a wakeboard. The board has the water jet nozzles coming out the bottom as if they are coming from under your feet.

Q: How old do you have to be to use the Flyboard?

A: We do not recommend Flyboarding to anybody under the age of 12.

Q: How long does it take to learn to use the Flyboard?

A: With the proper instruction, you can get the hang of the Flyboard and do some simple hovering on top of the water in a matter of minutes. Even keeping in mind that everybody learns at a different pace, the learning curve is quick.

Q: Does it take a lot of body strength to operate the Flyboard?

A: Not at all. It doesn´t take a lot of body strength to use the Flyboard. The Flyboard platform is stable and with proper balance almost anybody can do it.

Q: Where do you start using the Flyboard?

A: You will start off from our floating platform about 100m from shore.

Q: Does the Jet Ski stay with the Flyboard?

A: Yes, the Jet Ski stays with the Flyboard because it is attached to the Flyboard with a 60-foot power hose.

Q: Is there a weight limit?

A: Yes, the minimum weight is 85 lbs. and the maximum weight is 280 lbs.

Q: How fast can you travel above and underwater with the Flyboard?

A: It will depend on both the horsepower & weight of the PWC, and the weight of the pilot. Typically, you can get up to 15-20 MPH.

Q: Where can I make my reservation?

A: The simplest, fastest, and most reliable way to make your reservation is on our website. Although, you can also book directly at our location on Los Muertos Beach right beside “Sí Señor” Beach Restaurant, or through contacting us on our Facebook Page.

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?

A: Flyboard PV has different cancellation policies depending on the situation:

1. A full refund will be granted if you give 24-hours notice before cancellation.

2. If notice of cancellation is given less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity, you can reschedule your activity or be provided with a redeemable certificate, but will not be given a cash refund.

3. In the case of failing to appear for scheduled activity without providing notice of absence, Flyboard PV will not refund any deposit, provide a redeemable certificate, or provide the opportunity to reschedule the activity for a later date.
